Proud of our Foster Son

Can I just say that we have had moments and times of tears, frustration, throwing the towel in and rocking in the corner....and that was just us.

Our FS has had an horrendous time of the last 2 years, we've stood by him ....cus we love him .....but

We're proud of you son

He is getting a little bit more mature, is now responding to the boundries at home and school and he's done a full 6 weeks full time at school. We know this has been a major breakthrough for him, some days a little difficult, but you got there in the end son.
Last night was his 1st time allowed at a church youth club, he came back on time and handle himself in a mature way.....so here's hoping that many more Friday night youth clubs can be expected.

So I just wanted so say........Thank you son for the efforts you have had to undergo...I know its not been easy....and Pat and I are VERY PROUD OF YOU xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Well done

What a brilliant post

You have all had really tough times but through it all both your love for FS and his for you has shone through.

I know it has been tough for you all.

But fantastic news FS keep up the good times mate as you got a very special family there - but I know you know that.

Hugs to all

Wonderful to hear that Steph! I see the results of excellent foster placements with some of the kids I work with, and the transformations can be incredible! Massive well done to you and Pat too, without you both your FS would not have had the tools to improve.
