Healthy banana 'ice-cream'
I found a recipe for banana 'ice-cream' where you just chop up bananas, freeze them, then whizz up in a food processor/blender until creamy. Nothing else needed.
I made this last night to go with the pancakes and it was unbelievably lovely - the only thing is, the banana chunks were so hard the blender struggled and the motor started to smoke.
Has anyone else made this and if so, how do you make the frozen bananas easier to blend? Should I have allowed them to defrost a wee bit first?
