All very good ideas... I like most of them! I'm going to have to make a list! lol I wont pick until I see her, but I want to have the top ones picked so I can pick faster....

She is a little doll. very sweet and snuggly. her foster Mom adores her, and she plays very well with the danes (she rescues Danes and has 8 in her house right now!) so she will be a great buddy for Oliver!

I love To Kill a Mockingbird, so how about Harper? as in Harper Lee of course. I have that name earmarked for any bitch I might get in the future.

Or Jem? I know the character in the book is male, but it can be can be used for females...short for Jemma/Gemma.
To Kill a Mockingbird is a fav. of mine too! (why I chose the name Scout! lol) Her coloring comes from breeding 2 dapples together (merle) and the deafness comes from that as well. She will sure get alot of attn at the dog park! lol!

What about Merle after the 1930's actress Merle Oberon and her colouring is merle is it ? (Merle Oberon was gorgeous too) - she starred in Wuthering Heights.

How about Tinkerbell from Peter Pan?
Or Hermione from Harry Potter?
