Rolo, male Patterdale, DOB 25/12/11 - Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Rolo, Patterdale, DOB 25/12/11 - Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Homing Requirements: Rolo needs a terrier experienced family to continually improve his confidence & trust in meetings. A REHAB home i.e. not for a 'keep him away from everything' family, but managed intro and confidence building. Rolo wears a muzzle to
enable him to enjoy his walks, building his confidence meeting dogs and people without his walkers concern of people 'gushing' him or off lead dogs rushing him. He still can get frightened but is losing now his instinct to lunge. Fully trustworthy once his trust is there. He would love a secure garden with exit management.

His Story: Rolo was born on Christmas day, his owner became ill, lost her job and moved house and the landlord ousted Rolo. Rolo had led a very restricted life kept away from visitors and had no walks. Rolo is neutered, chipped and vax'd. Now in foster in a multi dog household and now much more relaxed in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.
Advert: Rolo was under socialized so was fearful when he came to us. We have since built up his confidence and he is learning to trust and cope in life. Rolo needs careful introductions to visitors but now, if not 'rushed', makes friendship easily. Rolo needs a slow reassuring approach and soon becomes firm friends but his nerves on approach means his potential family remains elusive. Rolo loves the car travel as the front passenger.
Rolo is a 2 years old wire-haired Patterdale and grew up as an only dog. Rolo meets dogs well outside as any terrier does! He has learnt to settle with dogs at his foster home. Rolo can be left and is content in his only company but you may find him playing with his toys on arrival.
