Thug throws puppy down 14-storey rubbish chute

Apr 18 2008 By Kizzy Taylor
A PUPPY suffered horrific injuries after he was dropped down a bin chute in a block of high-rise flats.
The eight-week-old Border collie may have plummeted 14 storeys before landing among the rotting rubbish in the tower-block.
Inspector Nicky Scott, of the Scottish SPCA, said: "He was in a horrible state.
"He is so small and he was battered and broken.
"The caretakers at the flats heard the thud, thud of him coming down the chute and then heard pitiful crying coming from the bin.
"When they looked in, they were horrified and called us in right away."
The tiny dog - named Clyde by SPCA workers - was thrown down the metal chute at flats in Dalmuir, Glasgow.
He was taken to a vet's surgery, where he is being monitored around the clock.
The vet said the next 24 hours were critical.
It is feared Clyde may have suffered serious internal injuries.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish SPCA said: "We are playing a waiting game at the moment and just hoping that this poor boy pulls through.
"It is a horrendous case. He is in an awful state and is in a lot of pain - even his lungs are bruised.
"He is heavily sedated to ease his pain. We really need to know how and why this happened."
The chute is operated by opening a heavy metal drawer which is three feet off the ground, so there is no chance Clyde could have got into it by himself.
The SPCA are now desperately trying to trace Clyde's owner.

Praying for Clyde's recovery.

Hoping for something very nasty to happen to the person who put him in that position.

I Keep saying this......do unto those that do to others....which includes animals.
There used to be alot of this happening when I worked for the RSPCA, but it was an estate at Weoley Castle, high rise flat, domestic's, and poor animals suffering the fate of this little one, even seen bodies that had been thrown of the balconey. Do it to them thats would be my kind of punishment. They are nothing but sh*tty, rubbish, scum, and snakes of the earth. I wish they would let me visit them.................they'd think the had come, just shut the door and leave me alone with them

thats just it - people need to stand up for those that cant - somebody knows who did this and it will probably never come to light as nobody wants to say anything.

What an absolute sicko to do this - i just dont understand if people dont want animals why not just take them to SSPCA or rescue centre - there is absolutely no excuse.
