spider woes

This afternoon, we were working clearing scrub and brush, when my colleague Barbara bent a branch to remove it. It was a tad flexible, and bounced back with a *twoing*
On the *twoing* end was a house spider, about two inches across.
Barbara managed to twoing it straight up my left nostril.
Barbara really *really* does not like spiders.
The sight of this thing extricating itself from my conk made her need to sit down.
The spider needed to sit down.
Had Barbara not succeeded in quelling her first reaction, that of ****ting me across the schnozz with the bow saw, I would probably have needed to sit down too...

To be honest, no. I really don't need am iPod, and I like spiders. I used to have a tarantula called Fred, until he met the priest. But you don't want to hear about that, I'm sure.
