Anyone cross-stitch?

I just wondered if anyone else here cross stitched.
I've not stitched for a while but have decided to get back into it, I'm looking for inspiration!

I used to a long time ago.
A women i work with, does regularly and has told me if you get a photo, take it to ? can't remember where. They can turn it into a pattern, was thinking about one of the dogs together, then frame it.
But you can get software that does the same thing, black & white, not sure about the other shades.
I fine it relaxing, the last 1 i did was a tiger.

I've just been on the sewandso.co.uk website and they have lovely dog charts.
Elmac, there is a lovely one of a Welsh Spaniel.
I am in the middle of a birth sampler but want to do something bigger next.
It's strange, I find it relaxing to stitch for a couple of hours but I've got 3 pair of trousers waiting for hems to be taken up!

just found out how to make charts out of photographs.. if you'd like me to do one or would like the link.. let me know! there's somewhere online you can go to convert the RGB values to the thread colours.. here's one of Freda:

her eye looks a little funny but i'm sure it could easily be sorted!
