Annan is a very nice little town but have not heard of Brydekirk. Most of Dumfries and Galloway is picturesque and you're not very far from the Border in case you get homesick!

Yep, quite nice there, quiet, lots of gorgeous scenery, and as others say not far from Border or Dumfries Annan and Gretna, love shopping Gretna gateway, oh and very friendly there too x

I think BRYDEKIRK may be the name of the house

thank you
i am not too bothered about being homesick as moved here to north wales from essex nearly 4 years ago

but i always wanted to move to scotland
but the house we were after fell thru and we ended up here

do not think i will be settled till i get my house with loads of land in scotland
