He’s a sweet natured 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel

Alfie is looking for a new home because his owners decided to move abroad even though they were unable to take him with them. He previously lived with school-aged children whom he adored. He is an extremely affectionate dog who loves nothing more than cuddling up next to you.

Alfie is well behaved, toilet trained and can be left on his own for 4-5 hours. He knows basic commands but in typical Cocker style can be a little stubborn and gets easily distracted. He enjoys his off-lead walks, requiring 1-2 hours of off-lead exercise daily. An active and playful boy who loves his toys and joining in with family activities.

Alfie can be a little timid of people and dogs he hasn’t met before, he tends to shy away from strangers, he'll occasionally bark if he feels really threatened. Visitors and people he knows are always warmly welcomed. Babies and toddlers can scare him so any children in his new home will need to be 10 years +. Ideally Alfie would like to find someone who has owned Spaniel types before, also a home with a garden to bury his bones, an endless supply of soft toys and plenty of kisses and cuddles.

Alfie is looking for a perfect new home, a home where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life.
