Does the person need help? Who knows. And who are we to judge whether she does or not, or whether help would be welcome let alone accepted.

I do not think this person was malicious. I think that the person was just attention-seeking - "look what I have got/done/am doing".

A deliberate Troll? I do not really think so. Nor do I think the person was a deliberate WUM.

I think it was a very insecure person trying to pretend to be someone they were not, for some unknown reason except to themself.

Unfortunately it did not work for her.

So maybe yes - this is someone who needs help. But as I said, who knows.

And in the meantime Dogsey has been used, maybe even abused, by this person. And that is something that I am not particularly happy about, as although I am a fairly new member I happen to think a heck of a lot about Dogsey, and I do not like to see it abused.

Whether intentionally or unintentionally.

I think its an attention seeking syndrome? Like Autism... except chronic lying......

They could say "I broke my leg last week" even if they were standing perfectly normal in front of you.

a WUM is a wind up merchant, and Walter Mitty was a fictional character who lived in a fantasy world. Come out of hiding and help Milk Maid with the bbq
