I survived!

Well, I have just got back from our family ski-ing lesson and I actually did better than I thought I would do. Apart from having to have fat leg straps added to my boots( )it was actually quite good fun. I have to say that walking up and down the slope sideways was actually the hardest part.I had one fall which was a bit like landing on a porcupine that had been road killed....(dry slope) but apart from that I managed to do all that was asked of me....I even managed a teeny weeny jump!

We progress to B class on Thursday...

sadly my youngest had a crisis of confidence and refused to do most of the class. She is now booked in for a private lesson so that she can take it at her own pace.....

Now i wait to see if I can walk when I get up tomorrow....

Fat leg straps...how embarrassing, I'd probably have to have them too. Sounds like you did ok though. Hope you're not too sore tomorrow!

Aren`t you supposed to be having fondue and gluhwein about now? Come on - the apres ski is supposed to be the best bit.
