Decorations

At the moment I only have the christams tree to put up so the room is going to look bare Can anyone suggest what else to decorate the room with that won't look over the top? I want something pretty
Any ideas?

I hope I can still find something this close to christmas!

A wreath on the wall would look pretty, perhaps a few candles in the room.

Alot of florists are doing pine cones and dried oranges etc to use for decorations - not only do they have a lovely aroma but give a very earthy feel to a room
