help with highs of jumps for JRTS and LAB'S please

ok i now patch has told me before but have forgot and can't find where i wrote it down.

please can you tell what the hights are the jumps for a small jrts and for labs as OH is making a few jumps for me for the garden to help me keep busy and dont wont to get it wrong. hope that makes sence.

thanks in advance for teh help guys i now you will know the answers..

"2. Height Limit for Dogs
a. Large Dogs
For dogs measuring over 430mm (1ft 5ins) at the withers.
b. Medium Dogs
For dogs measuring over 350mm (1ft 1.75ins) and measuring 430mm (1ft 5ins) or under at the withers.
c. Small Dogs
For dogs measuring 350mm (1ft 1.75ins) or under at the withers.


a. Hurdle -
Large dogs – to be between 550mm (1ft 9.6ins) and 650mm (2ft 1.6ins).
Medium Dogs - to be between 350mm (1ft 1.75ins) and 450mm (1ft 5.7ins).
Small Dogs - to be between 250mm (9.8ins) and 350mm (1ft 1.75ins).

Width: 1.219m (4ft) minimum. The top bar or plank must be easily displaced by the dog. A wall should have displaceable units on the top.

b. Rising Spread Jump – Rising Spread Jump - A maximum of 2 single jumps as in Item a - (Hurdle) placed together to form a double spread, there must be no more than 2 elements to this obstacle. The top bar on the first hurdle must be at least 150mm (5.9ins) to 250mm (9.8ins) lower than the second hurdle.

The maximum spread to be:
Large Dogs – 550mm (1ft 9.6ins)
Medium Dogs – 400mm (1ft 3.7ins)
Small Dogs – 300mm (11.8ins)

There must be only one pole on the back hurdle. The feet of the side supports (wings) should not be interlocking but touching and must not be out of line by more than 76mm (3ins)."

see i new my star would have the nswer for me. Thank you so much again patch really do need to sort my head out and started doing some thing. i think i might have a prob with smudge as she is used to panels not poles but i will get there with her as i now she loves it and so do i. thanks again hun
