Early start on gardening

The carrots have sown
ive relocated some herbs (my parsely and Tyhme needed a new bed)

Last year I did not use any chemicals and saw tones of butterflys but many of the veggie didnt make it because they eatern up I also got no strawberys last year but I think I know were I went wrong.

I am getting netting for my strawbs so the flowers dont get eatern by birds. Last year I tried every organic homemade bug killer but all failed so this year im using using the store bought stuff got any recomendations??? I dont really want to use them because of the chickens and dog but I want my plants to live this year.

I am hopping to grow basil and corriander again too ^^
