Mine arent allowed on the furniture. They are not even allowed in the living room.

I know Im a cruel dog owner, but I do have a large kitchen.

Star is allowed on the furniture but chooses to sleep on her bean bag. She likes her space when she sleeps.

My living room is locked, unless I am in there.
When I am in, the dogs are allowed in. My kitchen is fairly big, and the back door is open most of the time, so they have that to run in.

Teagan has chosen her 'own' chair in the living room, that i've covered with a blanket. She knows she can sit wherever the blanket is, as long as i'm in there with her.

Kingsley has always sat on the furniture with me, which isn't so bad, because he doesn't shed!
Kingsley also sleeps in the living room, on the sofa. Teagan is caged in the kitchen at night.

I am a real soft touch and let them on the sofa. They have the run of the downstairs too, although they have their own den for sleeping. We did say before we got them that they wouldn't be allowed on the furniture, but hey, it's the best place to have a cuddle!

Well as you can see Chester did get quite comfy on the leather sofa... infact our other 2 dogs were also allowed on them.

Good job the sofa is 11 years old now... but we has also stopped him going on them now, although he still does try
