Got started for new greenhouse

YESTERDAY A LOG STORE

TODAY no log store geting site prepared for greenhouse

The tiles on the roof each had 2 screws holding it down when all that was needed was for them just to hook over the battons underneath. Wood wise built like it was strengthened to withstand a bomb. The whole thing was over engineered to the ninth degree.

So At the moment we have been down the dump to get rid of the roof tiles and all the wood in the trailer ready to go tomorrow.

Long way to go yet getting rid of all that in the second picture but it depends on the weather or not how we progress

The vine is staying as long as we can fit it in with our plans, I don't want to loose it. Getting it out of the framework was hard.

Griff it would have been for me mainly but I happen to have a couple of good crowbars and a very good chain saw which did the job.

Next couple of days will be spent going to the tip, so much to get rid of (8x4 trailer full of old wood frame now). I have a plan of action in my head about which order things should be done in and what I want to achieve, but that is for the future and, if allowed, post pictures of each stage I have done.

You can still see all the roof tiles stacked up behind the rockery, they all have to go yet as well. the previous owner had hundreds of them everywhere

Some similarities in our 'previous owners' here TW because I found loads of roof tiles (Some of them new and never used) can't figure out why anyone would want to keep so many.

I can understand perhaps one or two in case of the odd replacement but why hundreds If you needed that many then the house roof would likely be blown away

Tumblerweed, if you aren't in s desperate rush to get shot of the tiles, you could try advertising them on your local freecycle page or equivalent, might save you a few trips to the tip
