When your dog has taken delight in shaming you!!

thought there has been alot of doom and gloom of late and i thought of funny situations dogs have got me into!!
so here is one for you!!!
a few weeks ago i was walking my parents dog on a field near by where lots of other sociable dogs hang out too, we were walking along and mikey, my parents cross breed is very well behaved when out and about with people and dogs.
i had only said this the night before (famous last words i know!!!)
we suddenly had a little wire haired fox terrier running up to us and she started flirting with mikey outrageously!!! mikey thought this was great and had a great run round with her
after a few minutes we went on our merry way when mikey approached an older lady in the most amazing full length bright purple barbour type coat i have ever seen, mikey approached this lady and proceeded, in the most deliberate manner, to cock his leg i stood there aghast and heard her shrieking "HE JUST WEED ON ME, AND IT WASNT A SMALL ONE EITHER"!!!!!
he had never ever done anything like this prior to or shown any sign of doing it since, i had to shamefacedly walk up to this older lady and offered to pay for her coat to be cleaned, thankfully she realised i was very very shocked by what he had done and saw the funny side PHEW!!!!!

at the time it was horrifying and when i came back and told my mum of his crimes, well she for far too long in my opinion!!!!
looking back on it now however it was a very funny episode!!!
so fess up people what situations has your dog got you into!!!!??????

When I was in my teens I went on a walk with my friend and her dog and took Petra with me. Afterwards we stopped off at her grandparent's house as they were nearby. We were all out in their very posh garden and Petra was behaving herself admirably until she decided to just throw herself into their prized fish pond She'd always hated water as well, I don't know what she was expecting. The look on her face was priceless We never did get invited back...

Since having Gelert I have become pretty much immune to dog related embarrassment.

Jed has a tendency to go for a poo right in front of people. In summer he likes to target the people who are sitting eating their packed lunch. He did that to me at Cannock Chase. We'd walked a fair distance without toiletting and then came across a couple of walkers sat on the floor eating sandwiches. He veers off the path, gets a few yards away and then squats. I thought he was going to have a drink from the stream but I was so wrong!
I keep a close eye on him now though because he does it without fail.

Also, we were walking in Dovedale on a nice sunny day and there were lots of people sat taking in the rays. An elderly couple were eating their packed lunch and the man had his open lunchbox behind him on the floor. Flynn and I spotted it at the same time and I attempted to shout him back and he did falter for a minute then decided I was too far away to do anything and ran over and nicked the blokes food. The bloke was ok about it but his wife was fuming!

We bumped into an old school friend and her mum the other week out on a walk. It was the first time the mum had met Kasper as we've only recently moved back to the area. Their dog is an absolute terror, so I was excited to show off my rescue dog (the parents are anti-rescue). What was the first thing Kasper did? Squat and poo

It was okay though because my friend was having to hide behind a parked car with their dog as it is so aggressive. It was still yapping and snarling and choking itself on lead...they didn't train or socialise it as a pup because it was from a breeder you see

Millie just enjoys slinking off when in the park and I almost all ways find her in the no dogs allowed part! How does she know???

The most embarasing thing ive been witness to my dog is my silly mum letting her run in out of the car, out Millie ran when she saw a staffie on a lead and wanted to play so mum had to get her back but before she had gone Millie had decided to go mess on my neighbours lawn, lucky thing is no one was around at the time so I could collect the mess without getting told off.

Yes mum did learn her lesson after that not to let the dog off lead as ive told her countless times not to do it before o.0''

My first dog Loki peed one some poor child's sandcastle at the beach. He also widdled excitedly on a laptop that belonged to the yellow pages rep when she came round to sort an advert for us.

When I was 15 mum had a Rough Collie and she went everywhere with me

One night we were just dossing on the park a group of about 10 or so of us. Along came the police with their torches and started questioning us about what we were doing etc whilst flicking their torches about more than likely looking for booze and my dog set off chasing the torchlight on the ground, she was going mad chasing it jumping over hedges and weaving around the swings etc I never saw her move so fast again, it was like zoomies with a purpose
Well I set off laughing which then set off my mates and we were all doing that chewing the insides of our cheeks, snorting and shaking thing. Luckily the police saw the funny side and egged my dog on a bit then moved off
They never did find the booze but if they'd have moved a little bit further around the roundabout then we'd have been in for it

I was at one of the lakes in the Cotswold Water Park to take my dogs swimming. I looked around and saw no food or barbecues so heaved a sigh of relief.

Unfortunately, one of my dogs who can detect food in a sealed can, wrapped in polythen at the bottom of a locked suitcase with a fervour reminiscent of a highly trained sniffer dog was a little more vigilan than myself.

She ran, dripping towards two people seated on a dark blanket upon which was a dark plate on which rested some cooked sausages......................

Ahem, they were not amused, despite obscene grovelling on my part.......................
