hi all advice wanted

just wanting advice our beagle dog behaves most of the time.but when my husband goes out on his own.our dog sulks,climbs on sofa ,tables ect.refuses to listen to me at all.how can i get him to listen to me aswell.does anyone have any advice that would help me with him.

Hi Missy

How much involvement do you have with your dog, are you involved in feeding him, or does OH do this? How much contact do you have with him in regards to walking, training, feeding etc...

Hi Missy it sounds as if your dog considers himself to be above you in the household Maplecottage is indicating this in her post..if you are not the one doing these things above you should try to ...it may also help to introduce NILIF as explained in this link found by Shadowboxer... both you and your husband need to work together on this and both treat the dog the same ...
