Gundog owners - where can I buy a stomach/chest protector for my dog?

hi,i need to buy a tummy/chest protector for my dog.i am having a huge problem trying to find one in the u.k.my dog has quite thin skin(he is not a working dog)and his tummy gets very irritated and scratched whilst running through the long grass/nettles and splashing in the water.i thought you gundog owners would be the best to ask as they seem only to be available for gundogs in the u.s.thanks

hi, try this site http://www.barkingmadclothing.co.uk/...sp?cat=10&pg=2

my dad has one of these for his weimaraner, and his pup has one. you can only really get them in a coat style, but they do have a built in protector and theyre not too expensive, it should take u to the page its on. there a few on there. hope its of some use

Griff,

Try coating around the area in vaseline, a good dollop rubbed in and give 1 piriton tablet to stop allergic reactions to nettles etc. Out of my team of 5 picking up team I have to do it to 3 of my spaniels but the two goldens are fine.
