Top dog names

Obviously not an exact science, and results may be different elsewhere. I wasn't surprised to see Jake at number 4, but how has Simon got to 67?

Of my four, only Max makes the list - my excuse is I ran out of inspiration at that point! (Tho' he's usually referred to as Maxi the Daxi!)

Very interesting some names I know are popular in this area don't make the list at all.

Maybe Simon is an 'X Factor' thing Perhaps next year's list will include Piers!

Well, of all the dogs I've owned over the years, only 6 of them appeared on the list:

9. Bailey
43. Gracie
51. Henry (didn't name him as he was 13 months old when we got him)
61. Jasper
70. Prince
80. Barney

I was quite suprised as we have so many Poppys and Ollies around here I expected to see them top of the list.

I thought that too. Tilly seems to have become a popular name so would have expected to see it listed. Nice to see Gracie is on there though. She's now got one up on Tilly!

My dogs are called Bryan (didn't expect to see that one) and Mutley (thought that would be there!) Neither of my kids are there either and know loads of dogs with their names- Morgan, Izzy and Poppy!

Missy and Daisy are on there, but no Tilly, Tammy or Curly.
