We had a really good day too.

we had a good day at Carlisle Open show today Pellow got a First in AV Hound Graduate and under a different judge he then got a First in AV Not Bred by exhibitor and as this show was not judged on the Group System he then went in for BIS but unfortunately did nothing there but considering there was around fifty odd dogs in for it was not surpirsing. Rye got a second in AV Open. The bonus is my daugher lives inCarlisle and she came along to the show and we went back and had a lovely meal with her and her partner.

We got some pictures which when I get a chance to download them from my camera I shall post if they are any good.

Well done, especially as it was AV which can be tricky!
I hate shows not on the Group system. Luckily it doesn't happen here. When I was in the UK I only got placed once under that system, you seem to be in the ring for hours with no result often
I am always very pleased with Group placings and now that I get BOB more often it is what I aim for, makes it more worthwhile going to Opens.
