One week early!
It only took two phone calls as well
Just gone 8.30am [and without prior warning] Vadim, our Local Authority Vet, turned up to give Pereg her rabies shot!
I am well chuffed as it usually takes three or four phone calls with him saying "I will be there on Guessday" and sure enough he does eventually turn up on a Guessday, but this is the first time ever he has turned up before the shot was due!
[I usually start phoning him about three or four weeks before it is due, and he has never before turned up on time, let alone early!]
Told him about Pereg's seizure yesterday and he tut tutted, said such a shame, patted her on her head, said "no time to sign her card, you write the date" - did not want any dosh - and blew a kiss as he went back to his car!
A good start to the day after yesterday's disastrous one.
