Dog friendly places to stay in Cornwall?

Thinking the Falmouth area or nearby since we've used it as a base but that was pre-dog and turns out that the place we've stayed before isn't what you'd call canine friendly! I've had a quick google and found a couple of places on the Pembrokeshire coast too but having never been there have no idea of the area or whether it's got lots of decent places for the boys to have a good time as well the people on this holiday. Near to a beach or similar would be good but have also found some places near to the new forest and exmoor too. Any suggestions would be greatly received, the place needs to be able to take two adult sized setters which seems to be making my search that much more difficult, dog friendly is apparently often code for "we will accept one yorkshire terrier" .

We camped at Plynt last year. Cornwall is the most dog friendly place we've been. Can't suggest anywhere to stay but this might help re the beaches

We took Ben & Max in March. Stayed in Porth which is just outside Newquay at a place called Glendorgal. It was on a private headland overlooking the beach. We cooked through a company called beach retreats. Their website has all their properties and a lot of them are dog friendly. They charge £20 per dog per week.

Hi Jessie I can throughly recommend the Pembrokeshire coast, the area is very beautiful with lovely walks for dogs and some dog friendly beaches (there is a list availible).
We have stayed in a number of cottages managed by these people and they were great.

I also know of a couple of privately owned cottages which will take 2 well behaved dogs, this is the garden of one of them above Newport..

..the other is near St Davids.

Near Falmouth, we always use these cottages: http://flushingholidaycottages.co.uk/ They even have a section called 'Its a dogs life', written from the dogs perspective... http://flushingholidaycottages.co.uk/its-a-dogs-life. Have fun. x

I'm sitting with 4 Dogs in a lovely Barn conversion, high up on Bodmin Moor, at this very moment.
Probably a bit too far out for you, but only 15 miles from 2 Dog friendly Beaches.

we have camped before (they also have static caravans) on a lovely quiet family camp site in between perranporth and newquay. They have got a lovely stauna and steam room, but no swimming pool.
Very dog friendly, (the owners have dog themselves) all their caravans are dog friendly for any sized dog.
We camped and had an amazing time.
