Dog cooling mats

Does anyone have any experience of them?

Someone on here suggested one and I'm seriously considering it.

Woody gets so hot in the car and despite air con, or windows down and sun shades all over the back I do worry about him as he pants all the time.

I have a cooling coat for Fudge. It is towelling which you wet and then the heat is drawn away from the dog to the coat.It can be constantly topped up too which is great!

I got mine from country mun.

I just soak a towel in cold water, ring it out and then lie it in the back of the car on a waterproof picnic rug or put it out on the patio in the shade if we're at home and Monty loves it. Simple yet effective.

I have a cooling coat too. It's like a chamois, you soak it wring it out and pop it in a plastic bag. When you need it you whisk it out put it on and the dog stays cool, it doesn't make them wet either.

I used it yesterday at a show, it was brilliant.
