I have one that rolls in what ever smells disgusting, and one that eats and rolls, the worst one was a dead seal, took moths to get rid of the smell!!!!!

Tomato somehow neutralises the smell
But do you really want to take a bottle of ketchup/jar of passata with you and do you really want a non-smelly but gloriously red doggie in your car?

Perhaps you could take tomato and rinsing water? Or perhaps you could go for your walks in a cow-poo free field!

I have tried the no cow field unfortunately in Sutton Park there is a herd of cows and a herd of horses/ponies that roam the park freely (it's a nature reserve) and there is something everywhere, I suppose I have moved forward Gyp used to eat it and roll at least Sal only rolls I hope with Tess she will do neither. Although saying that Sal did not do it at all until she was at 18-20 months - so beware DM your time could come and I have a solution now I take water with me and rinse her off before she gets in the car.

Oh for the opportunity

We are on day 20 of red drippy season and we are all stir-crazy

It can't go on much longer can it????? It must be 11 years since I've had a bitch in season; I'd forgotten just what a pain it is.

Roll on June!

I've got my two to come into season again yet DM and if they don't come in together I have to leave one at home and walk the other - that is mind blowing too the one left behind cries then moans when she can't go out.

the only thing i can suggest is keep her on a long lead until she responds to you saying no?
unfortunely all three of mine roll in fox poo on every single walk! its revolting!

scruffy used to dunk his head in cow pat then roll in it ! yuck! i walked home with a brown dog!

sash now has to wear a basket muzzle to stop her eating it

Maybe she's not that bad 8 times out of 10 she will not roll if I tell her not too but its when she's out of sight for that 1/4 of a second I fail. Oh well I'll just take the water and wash her down.
