Me too

I was almost phyisically sick doing my test (my lessons too). When I passed my test I didn't get in my car and drive it for 2 weeks - although I had passed my test I had no confidence driving whatsoever, I wouldn't even have the radio on when I was driving It took over a year for me to build up my confidence in driving - 7 years on I zoom around in my sports car and luv it

I still have a fear of reversing into car park spaces though and don't do it but I can reverse out of the smallest space - strange

Its horrible isn't it and I really do feel for you, I used to feel like my stomach was in my throat :smt078 and I even remember my instuctor making me cry once not because he was particulary nasty but because I was frustrated that learning to drive a car was getting the better of me

It's very unusual for something to get to me that much as I'm a very strong minded person (not to be confused with stubborn minded ) all I can say Bellaluna is keep up the lessons and as soon as you have passed your test make sure you go out in a car and have a good drive around (don't leave it 2 weeks like me) and it really does get better. I can't imagine how I ever got on without a car !!

Good Luck
