Worming Tablets - How often?

Have had my dog for 10 months now, he was given 1/2 a tablet when I got him and the other half 3 months later. Is it every 12 months he should be wormed or more often.

Every six months should be sufficient as long as a good quality wormer is used. Ask at your vets for reliable brands

For a pet dog every 6 months should be sufficient if a decent wormer is used. Drontal is the best one you can get from a vet IMO.

I worm a puppy but never again unless i see evidence. I dont believe in giving a dog chemicals to kill something that isnt there.

I had to give Roxy 1 tablet every two months from 10 weeks. Now at 6 months she gets 2 and 1/2 tablets every 3 and a half months?

With pups I worm every 2 weeks up to 12 weeks, then monthly up to 6 months, then every 3 months up to a year old. Then twice a year from 12 months+

once a year for H! dont see why we have to pump all the chemicals into our dogs just to make the drugs companies rich.

Drontal state 'every 3 months' I fear a resistance build up will happen if everyone did this, just like the head lice that we can get the products become ineffective.
