Prejudice and intolerance of any kind/sexual/colour/religious.
Unjust wars (most of them are).
Violence and cruelty to any living thing.
GM crops.
Pesticides and rubbish put on our food.
Food out of season flown half way around the world.
Pompous arrogant men with small...errmm 'egos' who feel they need to compensate by belittling women.
The sort of men who go on websites and make tasteless jokes about things like Tsunami victims.
People who throw rubbish about and let there dogs poo everywhere.
Most male drivers.

I hate:
war
bullying
cruelty of any kind to any living being (animal and human)
people who try and justify cruelty

I could probably go on and on as well but its too depressing thinking about all that stuff

:smt077 :smt077 Now, THIS is my kind of thread! :smt077 :smt077

Brute stupidity - that kind when you try to teach someone the correct way of doing something, but they carry on doing it wrongly, because they are sure it's not possible for you to be right. I used to work with a lot like that, and I hated them.

These are the people who will be summarily executed when I become World Fuhrer:

People who run into you with shopping trolleys.
People who can't operate cash machines, especially in the rain.
People who don't have change IN HAND when they get on an exact-fare bus.
Able-bodied people who take disabled parking spaces.
People who have small children in tow, who think that it gives them an automatic right to keep everyone else waiting.
People who stop to chat in supermarkets and block the aisles.
Most politicians, ALL Tory politicians. Especially Michael Howard.
Drivers who overtake you, then slow down.
Drivers who stop on zebra crossings (it's an offence, actually).
Bank managers.
DLA doctors (a very long story).

The following will be abolished when I'm World Fuhrer:

I'm a ******, get me out of here.
Pop Idol (and anything like it).
Wife Swap.
All soaps.
All televised football.
(correction) all televised sport other than International Rugby, especially the Olympics.
Makeover programmes.
99% of cookery programmes.
Holiday programmes.
Home in the Sun/Country.

And that lot's just for starters!

Derivation (thank you, Google!): "This apparently refers to an old English (Welsh?) belief that keeping a goat in the barn would have a calming effect on the cows, hence producing more milk. When one wanted to antagonize/terrorize one's enemy, you would abscond with their goat rendering their milk cows less- to non-productive."

A/S, there are a few things which are an absolute delight!

A pint of cold lager on a hot day.
Seeing the driver who overtook, then slowed down, tagged by the cops for careless driving
Sitting on a rock at the beach, watching my dogs run.
Watching the Scottish rugby team kicking the **** out of England (yep, I have a very long memory )
And, of course, conversing with you on this board........

Snorri
