it does, it sounds as though they won't let him go till they find the right owner for him

I am so glad to see that someone has at last taken the time to help Saxon and give him a new life.

That's fantastic news, just hope that someone can give him the home he really deserves now where he will be loved for the rest of his life

A beautiful boy, and as they say is by no means a cuddly teddy bear, I'm glad he will not be put to sleep...Should it not be the responsibility of the Police to have some sort of retirement home for these dogs I mean they don't put retired Police down, these dogs are dedicated to duty, and more eager to please than any police man I have ever met. Sorry if I sound a bit defensive don't mean to upset any one.

Well I guess nobody can say they aren't trying their best at least to get him sorted out.

Glad to hear he is still alive and I truly hope he gets the special, experienced home he deserves

Thanks for the update

It is the norm for retired police dogs to live with their handlers for the rest of their days, but I think Saxon had "issues" which made this impossible.

Fantastic news for this dog and hopefully for many after him, it really has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride for him over the last months
