Hiya there, Im wanting to do agility with Flower when she is older (will start training in a year) But would like to take her to some companion shows to get her used to the atmosphere as she is extremely exciteable!!

Does anybody know where I can find out about these and where they are?? I dont mind travelling ...!!!!

There is a section on here in the MEMBERS GROUP area which is dedicated to Companion Dog Shows and has shows listed.
They are also listed by the Kennel club on their website and are in the dog papers each week.
Companion Shows are getting less and less this time of the year to be honest, they tend to go mad May time.
Why don't you take Flower to some agility comps to watch as well. All good socialising

megan57collies and rachelsetters beat me to it :smt023

Plus of course there is the Virtual Dogsey Companion Show which you can use to get practise for movement in the ring ie for This Class

And to practice motivating for a class which happens at almost every real companion show currently running HERE

Unfortunately you missed the Terrier AV class but there is a `show posed` crossbreed class to come for which you can practise free-standing or stacking to enter that one and there are lots more traditional companion show type classes to enter plus several puppy classes are on the schedule

The main entrance entrance is always open if you want to have a look around the

Thats a good idea I never thought of that.. the only thing that worries me is she is very exciteable! When we went to puppy class on Tuesday I got som many looks from the other owners because she is so jumpy and flighty!! She just wants to play! But...she was probably the best at doing all of the commands...

Ive no idea how I got her to concentrate but I did!! xxx
