So we took Holly and Toby out for Toby's first long walk outside our village yesterday. He was a very tired boy when he got home

We walked about 5 miles and it was only towards the end of the walk that he calmed down. I honestly don't think he's ever been anywhere like this, and it was a joy to see Toby running on the long lead and investigating everything!

They are both beautiful and great dog walking weather at the moment. I used to walk my BC off lead for miles and when we got home he would go straight to his toy box to get a ball as if to say "are we going to play now"? while I would collapse on the settee
