I have a nasty sore throat, no point going to Docs not interested, any home cures please, but not honey, please

onion soup is excellent for throats also chocolate actuall smoothes the throat...fab excuse for choccy binge!!!

How about those sore throat pastilles. Boots do a good range that actually numb your throat! Feel better soon.

I have some of those but can only have them every 2-3 hrs - can't beleive this sore throat is making me feel so awful, haven't had the energy to take out the dogs even.

It's going around Sweep. I usually don't suffer but had a brutal cold a couple of weeks ago that doesn't want to shift. Couldn't even lift my head

That's another strange thing I always associate a sore throat with a cold, but no cold, just heavy eyes & head and itchy ears!

Don't things like Beechams flu capsules deal with sore throats as well as aches and pains. I usually use them
