Thank you Rose, Myra and Gordon.
How are you Rose ?
We were saying yesterday Myra it seems a common combination here and in the US Bernese and Golden Retrievers. I think there temperaments and training needs are very similar.
Gordon it was a cracking day.

Smashing photo's of the walk and handsome Dillon with all his pals.

Georgina, my Shar-Pei's best friend at "iskola" is a BMD named Leah. She's 6 months younger than Georgie and rather goofy, whereas Miss Pei Face is far more serious and dignified but despite the difference in their personalities they get on like a house on fire!

Thank you Nippy Jen, CM, Moyra, Sue and Phil.

Someone has to take the photos NJ.
Phil they are indeed a sight to see together normally there are more but this year our neck of the woods due to prior engagements and an injury to one of the group when we all went to the beach last week dog not human we were a very small group. Some of the groups across the country have had double figures and across the world mostly Canada and the US they have been huge groups totalling 90 I think in one group.

Wow

We bumped into a Newfoundland 'meet' a few years ago on Skye of all places. Needless to say lots of swimming and lots of towels. Bernese, Newfies and Leonbergers are lovely dogs. A friend of mine used to have Pyrenean but I'm not sure I keep one clean lol

Phil me neither Dillon's white chest is a trial all white I think I would have a nervous breakdown.

So far the total for the Bernese all over the world walking is 2192 Berners and not all the figures are in yet. Mexico had the biggest number walking 142.

I spoke to a couple in the park the other day who had two of these lovely dogs, you could tell these dogs were extremely well cared for, their coats shone and were so soft. They looked so happy!
