Well George, I haven't had time to read all your blog, but it looks like you've landed on your paws in your new home

PS you're a very handsome lad, in case you don't already know it

Rottweilers are an ancient breed - Part 1 - Egypt
Rottweilers go way, way back (as shown below) once upon a time they ruled Egypt as the one true Dog

It is said that they came from the stars following the well known phrase that 'life's a beach'. They asked the humans to build giant stone kennels to keep them cool as the sand in Egypt is very hot, in this effort they were led by the Pharaoh (or not so fairo) 'Ar' the one true Dog

Having had enough of the red hot sun, Cleopatra (CleoCatRa as they called her) and all her evil cats, they left with Alexander after she was bitten by an Asp (Cats proved to be no good at keeping down the Asp population) and went to Rome where it was cooler and moved into their new purpose built home the Coliseum.
The Egyptians were sad to see the Rottweilers leave and built a huge memorial to guard the entrance to the great kennels.

Georgeous has written many interesting articles which are available on his website. lol
