He has done when we had a blip when Gorden was redundant.
He finds it hard very independant and hates borrowing money.
Breakdown people on their way the RAC. Hopefully a dead battery. Or something very simple they can fix and it won't cost.

Hot coffee with some Bailey's I reckon Sue to warm the cockles.

Besoeker, I don't want to preach or speak down to you but we all know tawnywolf. We follow and enjoy her posts and I think there is a genuine reason for the way she posts.
It is not for me to post her reasons but if I may I would like to ask you to be a little more tolerant, in line with the spirit of the Dogsey forum.

Waiting for the update.

Consider me asked.
It was a constructive suggestion. Nothing demanding about it.
And I thought my tone was exceedingly tolerant.

"may I gently suggest"

How could I have posted it more gently or gentlemanly?

Battery dead and also the starter motor. RAC man thought putting a new battery on may just give it enough oomph to get it going to get it to a garage but he is thinking of changing the starter motor himself.
Thank you brenda I may be lending him mine. He is insured to drive other vehicles third party only and I think I would prefer fully comp if he is going to drive it.
Will have to see how much that will cost before making a definite decision.
