yeah hun you have to buy one of them dvd video combo thingies and you can transfer or i think if you buy a dvd recorder i think you can do it that way too

Yes of course you can all you need is a CD/DVD rewriter and some CD/DVD software and CD/DVD disks.

You can use a cd rewriter and make svcd (super video compact disk)
or vcd (video compact disk) these are done using a normal cd disk.
or DVD disk but to do this you need a DVD rewriter.

CD burning software like Nero and Easy cd creator can do all the above

Do you mean videos VHS or camcorder video?

Oh and if anybody knows how to use a Panasonic DVD Recorder could they help me out please. Had it over a year still haven't sorted it out......don't get a lot of 'quiet' time in this house.

Record from camcorder to dvd via DV Cable (IEEE1394) I get it to work then after 2 minutes it stops, probably something isn't set up right, but just can't figure out what.
