yes!! doesnt work every single walk when she pulls i stop. and then continue when the lead is slack. This sorta works, but not to the extent i would like. i have tried walking backwards, i have tried running in different directions so she will keep an eye on me i have tried treats, toys and cuddles.. shes not interested.

So i guess i'll just have to deal with skiing everywhere. maybe i'll get myself a sleigh.lol. or sit on a skateboard.

Jenny. Bella also made deathrolls a lot in the beginning, when she had her halti on, and still occasionally rubs her face in the grass, but I just pull her head up...

And she's a dream to walk, when I remember the halti that is....

Ha, Penny was the queen of deathrolls.

No, we just kept at it and she is finally good on it. Now she just comes over to you when you stop and rubs her head up and down your leg with impressive force. But when she butts you in the crotch..............

Gentle leaders and halti's are my reccomendation too Jenny. It takes a while for the dog to get the hang of it. They have to associate the 'not pull' as good and the 'pulling' as bad, so I'd say stick with it.
Luke was one stubborn so and so when we first got him and at 45KG of sheer nervous power, I would have been doing the impression of a water skier
(I used the harness and the halti together, that way the main pressure wasn't solely on the head).

Now Linda would argue that half check collars are the way, but no matter how many times she's shown me how to train to heal with that, I still can't get the hang of it
