Thanks for all your wonderful messages.
I've just got back from seeing him. He's already had his drip taken out and he absolutely smothered me with kisses. I was crying, the nurse was crying and even the vet was welling up. She said she honestly didn't think he would make it as he was so weak yesterday and she is astounded by the change in him.
If he continues to do well all day, there is no resaon why I can't bring him home around 5 ish today. He will come home with a weeks supply of antibiotics and the last dose of panacur for the Giardia and some Lectade in case he stops drinking. He is to have a teaspoon of chicken around 7pm and then another teapsoon of chicken before bedtime and then we slowly increase it tomorrow. The vet has recommended eventually putting him on Royal Canin Hypoallergenic as his tummy seems ultra sensitive.
He almost started howling when I left. I gave him loads of kisses from you all and told him how you were all thinking of him. I've got to stop crying now as I'm starting to look like I've got frogs eyes.
I'll update again later for you.
Warmest thoughts
Julie
