Basenji's

We went to the Basenji Owners and Breeders Association show yesterday, Pip won limit dog and went Res Best Dog and Taz won Puppy Dog and Best Puppy in Show!! He was also BPIS at the Basenji Club of Great Britain 2 weeks previous.

We were delighted, Taz's brother Rocco turned up (he was sold to a pet home) it was so lovely to see him happy and healthy and living with a lovely family.

I was saddened to see a lovely little Basenji girl being handed over to go into rescue, I hope she finds the perfect home.

Sorry to hear about the one ending up in rescue I take it the breeder couldn't take her back? Or did she come from that infamous BYB up north?

Jenny she did come from the North, Elaine brought her to the show to hand over to the other Jenny, she is thought to have come over from Ireland from a BYB, she looked very sweet, Elaine didn't think it would be very long before someone would want her. It will take a while to assess her and have her spayed, she must wonder whats happening to her.

Ahh right just what we need some other numpty breeding them! The one from the north of England is bad enough!
