Meet Alfie



Alfie is a 19-month-old Lhasa Apso who is looking for a new home because his owner moved to a property that doesn’t allow pets

Alfie is a sensible and sweet-natured chap who is aloof with strangers but very loving and affectionate towards people he knows. He enjoys giving and receiving affection, and climbing onto your lap for a cuddle. A calm and gentle boy, who is well-behaved, toilet-trained, knows basic commands and is responsive to training. He gets along well with most dogs but tends to be bossy around large dogs.

A somewhat lazy boy Alfie loves his comfort and his sleep. He does however still enjoy his daily off-lead walks in the park, which his new owners will be expected to continue. Ideally he would prefer to live with adults, any children will need to be of at least teenage age as he is unsure of young children and will avoid them if they try to approach him - if they persist in harassing him he’ll warn them off with a grumble. He’s not used to being left alone for long periods so needs a home where some one will be around for most of the day. He would happily live with a female dog and/or cats.

Alfie is looking for a perfect new home, a home where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life.
