Thanks for your post. I'm 32 and feel like I'm 70 with these knees. I have steroid injections they do work to a degree insofar as I'm no where near as stiff as I used to be getting out of bed but when I drive my left knee really hurts using the clutch. If I do a lot of walking on pavement or up hills the pain is terrible. It feels like my muscles and tendons in my knees are being over stretched too much. I just want my knees to be fine again.

I had a knee problem, albeit a different one, before I climbed Kilimanjaro and just having orthotics made all the difference. I genuinely don't think that I could have done the climb without them.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into this.

I am going to arrange to see a private consulation and see if I can get the op any sooner and get more information about the condition because my knees are only going to get worse.
