Sorry my phone was being a pickle! The rest of that was to HAVE him checked over and have his jabs as I'm sure he hasn't had them, it's been 3days since arch arrive and he's now fetching a ball!! I'm so proud f him I got him just in time before a innocent and beautiful dog was ruined. He meets my little one today for the first time so fingers crossed....ill let you know how it goes! Xx

Sounds like a match made in heaven to me. So lovely to read your posts with you sounding as if YOU are the lucky one, not Archie!

Look forward to your updates.

It is so exciting when they do doggy things. My dog wasn't very well socialised as pup and I had to teach him to accept being stroked and to interact with me - although pretty large believe it or not he likes to sit on my lap.

The most exciting thing in weeks was that on Sunday he retrieved a ball I'd thrown for him not once but about seven times - I wanted to do the victory dance I was so excited!

Ordinarily he will chase something - and then take it away (if at home he takes it to his bed).

do keep in touch and let us know how you progress, as he was badly treated I suspect he'll have been poorly socialised and there might be problems (hopefully not) and believe me on here there will be a mountain of excellent advice for you.

He's so handsome. How do I keep missing everything here. I'm going to look for his story here (i'm assuming there's a thread about him somewhere on the forum?)

You are doing a great job with him.

It went fantastic, at first Archie was extremely scared of Tyler and his tail was right between his legs....so what I decided to do was take him for a long walk with Tyler and that done the trick infact Archie wanted to sleep on Tyler's bed last night cheeky boy! They spent most of the afternoon chasing eachother round the garden xx
