How could you be such a cruel mum .... keeping Pereg waiting for her dinner?

I knew there were more things to change with the clocks going back... but even so Pereg was very late asking for her first meal. She normally does her road kill imitation while I am getting it prepared but she lifted her head up when I got hold of the camera!

She was still on her tether as the front door was open and I think the photo shows how very narrow my kitchen is - and when she is flonked down like that it is impossible to get past her!

But yes, I do think she is looking good although I am a wee bit worried that she has gained a bit of weight. I had intended taking her last week for her 6 monthly check up and blood tests although not really due until this week - and I am not even sure whether I will be able to take her this week. But I do not think she looks fat and she was obviously not desperate for food. She just had to have it before her 3pm Pb as all her special supplements and vitamins go in that first meal.

And she is rather sweet...

She looks in fine form. And not a bit overweight. Bella doesn't do 'lie down and wait' she just walks to where it is kept (or to where she eats it) and gives one short bark!

Thanks Pat! What she was patiently waiting for was her "wet" meal which consisted of 40g of raw turkey gizzard cut up and mixed in with her "soup" of supplements and vitamins, bulked out with lightly steamed courgettes, pumpkin, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, a couple of teaspoons of well cooked whole grains, - oh, and some raw grated carrots.

Her evening meal will be half a raw chicken back.

Dat dawg eats better than I do!

But I am rather worried because I think she has gained a bit, and it took me 18 months to get her down from the huge amount she gained when first on medication, and I really do not want her to gain any more. She is not fat by any means but I do not want her to be even 100g more than what I think is right for her.
