Pig in a blanket :-)

Poor A really feels the cold. All last week she kept jumping on my bed trying to get under the duvet with me. And she wanted to go out for a wee every night which is unlike her.

So I looked online for dog sleeping bags and found one on Amazon. But then Richard said she can use his old one.

I folded it in half and put it in her bed. She got in straight away, head first, and stayed there all night! She loves to have her head covered up. I don't know how she breathes.

Does anyone elses dog like to be totally covered up or is it just my silly girl?

Reah does, I have always thought that as she is a rescue she feels much safer.

Often I get up in the morning both Skye and Bruce are on top of thier quilt, Reah is the lump in the middle

my hooch loves to be covered up, we have bought him 3 different types of beds since we got him as a rescue, but he didn't use them, so we tried an old duvet and he loves it. better still he loves to sleep in our bed under the duvet. i always wondered how he breathes.

loads of my terrier owning friends have the same - me included. Somehow terriers think under the duvet is the only place to be!

Yeah, but A is a bit like a pig sometimes - she snortles, she's a bit on the rounded side and she's got a nice pink belly

So a staffy in a sleeping bag is like a pig in a blanket

Aww, glad she likes her new bed

Marius has a blanket (that has more holes than fabric but he loves it!!). He never tries to cover himself over, so I wouldn't be sure if he'd like to be.

They have a duvet downstairs that Dog's Trust gave to us and they adore it! Both of them spend ages making nests in it and Bryan quite often opens the cover and gets between the cover and the duvet
