He loves the food and has started putting on weight again and i admit it does look more appealing than the Chappie

But when he is taken for a walk the first can be picked up sometimes without any problems... but the second is still not so good, but does seem alittle bit better.

Only time will tell, he still has only been on the food for just over a week now... but so far it hasn't made things any worse.

Kirsty that is what Star is like on a walk or a run, her first poo is hard then it gets runnier and runnier, til there is nothing else to come out.

Our vet told me that it happens to some dogs and not to worry about it.

are you feeding him it dry? if not feed it dry only cos adding water seems to play Rocky up2 sometimes.

Also try to make sure he eats nothing else but his food - Rockys poo can play up if he eats any 'treats' etc

Glad it's started to show signs of improvement!

Good luck and keep us updated!

Does Chester run around a lot Kirsty? The reason I'm asking this, is that vigrous excercise stimulates the bowel, causing the bowels to open more frequently, hence looser poos.

I did hear some AB's have sensitive stomachs

That's good news Kirsty
It is good... people now won't be looking at him thinking he is being starved

Yep only dry... and he gets no treats anyway.

Not indoors, but he is always on the move... when he is out he is always pulling on his harness, i don't think he actually knows what walking is

I know a rottie with the same problem. If he's out for long walks he gets a runny tummy!
