Thoughtful Tuesday 8th August 2023

Morning all. Hope you had a good day yesterday. Yep thoughtful Tuesday as my neighbour in the flats next to here put the bins away for me this morning. Very thoughtful I thought. Saves me a job. I seem to be the one that puts them out and back usually. So nice of him to do it. I am supposed to have the plumber coming today to sort the dripping tap, typically it isn't doing it at the moment. Have a good day folks. Off to get my tv paper. Hope it doesn't rain as it looks a bit suspect up in the sky.

Had a call from the drs, had to go up there and have to pop up again tomorrow
Off to the vets... hope I survive lol

I am sure you will. The plumber still hasn't been. grr!!

Good afternoon brenda, griff and all to follow.
Bev and Boo popped round earlier, Boo told Brewster off a few times he took no notice.
Then she tormented him laying under the garden table and he wanted to lie down but not to close and she barked at him, then we had a bark off.
Boo is an old lady and a bit of a diva, but they mostly rubbed along nicely.
Bev is sitting Brewster for us for a few hours Saturday, Boo will be at home with Colin.
Brewster is enjoying chewing on a nice piece of beef trachea in the garden after a sleep while I went shopping. He was exhausted he did a lot of socialising on his walk this morning too.

That was nice of your neighbour brenda. Is this the one who kept parking in your space ?
We now have intermittent rain.
Hope the plumber turns up soon.

No he never parked until I said he could. It was just others. The plumber, Kelly, is now coming very late afternoon as I am the last one. Not happy and they didn't tell me, I had to ring again to find out.

Good afternoon/evening all

Pretty painful afternoon for me as it is the dreaded injection day. The good news is that my sight has really improved since the latest cateract op. The bad news is that the bloody injection hurt yet again and I was in the clinic for an hour longer than I should have been as the fire alarm went off and they couldn't do them while it was still annoyingly beeping (very loudly)

The upset routine made Ted very tetchy when we went on our saunter about when we got back and hasn't touched a thing to eat as yet, but he'll settle down soon enough

Oh goodness Chris. Hope you will be ok and I'm sure Ted will be. It's just another learning curve for him. My plumber has been and gone to return either tomorrow or Friday with a new tap. Dreadful to think it is only just over two years old. Apparently they don't change a washer just a complete tap. I hope he lowers his voice as he is a bit loud even for my dodgy hearing.lol!!
