Typical Thursday 3rd August 2023

Yep a typical Thursday for some of you. For me as usual, reading, some tele and what else, oh yes reading and some tele and maybe a walk if it isn't chucking it down. Hope you all get all sorted with whatever you have to get sorted. Pleased to hear Ted ate. Little and often I expect he is saying, or maybe not that often. Dogs are weird, you just have to get into their psyche. Have a good day all.

Morning brenda and all to follow.
Our day is similar to yours brenda except we have another 3 feeds between 11.30 and 9.30 oh and some hoovering.
Been for our short stroll met several dogs today biggish and smallish and now zonked out. We got it in before the rain.
Hope you get your walk brenda.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Lynn, I had my usual walk which was a bit draughty down the beach but pleasant enough. Then I went round to the surgery which was stressful as they had to go through the whole rigmarole again of filling in a form thing on their system. I am now waiting for a call back. Then I got some good news my water bill has gone down and I am in credit. Yeah it all helps. Have a good day.

Glad the walk was dry.
I hate rigmarole these days, great news about the water bill, our energy bill went down so less to pay this month.

Yet again they sent the prescription to the wrong chemist but fortunately the pharmacy I use managed to get it sent down before it got processed. Stress I can do without it. Hey ho have a good day all.

Good afternoon all

Overcast here today but so far dry

Had our usual breakfast and run along the prom which seems to have a plague of ladybirds at the moment which is fun

Tesco delivery some time this afternoon, but I'm guessing it will be after 9pm as usual with the kids being off. Just hope they deliver all I have ordered because it's always hit and miss in the school holidays

Got a couple of pairs of jeans now washed and so need to load into the dryer, a bit of tidying and that's me done for today

Good afternoon everyone

Pleased you got your prescription this tie Brenda. Nice when bills go down

Hope Tesco delivery is all good and does not arrive too late Chris.

Lovely that Brewster is enjoying his walks and making new friends.

It was sunny this morning but now overcast. All washing dried, ironed and in the airing cupboard , prescriptions picked up, ready for a change. Picking Maria up later and taking to gymnastics. No doubt picking her up again later. At least I have had most of the day to myself. Will find out later what tomorrow holds.

Take are everyone

Just a warning, make sure if the water man reads your meter they do it correctly. When they came and read mine a few weeks ago they said I had used more than normal so I said not possible. So, they came back and yep they had read it incorrectly. Good job I know that I am careful with water and other utilities.

having or should I say getting over a bruised knee which swelled up I did a short around the block walk. That was ok but the leg muscles seem to have tightened up since.

It's surprising just how quickly muscles lose their strength after any kind of injury. Build up strength slowly and carefully. Hope it all gets back to normal soon TW
