Yeah they are long lived animals, with a life span of around 10 - 20 years, which is great for a rodent, although it does annoy me when some pet shops sell them saying that they have a short life span poor creatures, if thats short I'd hate to see what they class as long. Hope you manage to get your promised Chinchilla one day though

I hardly dare look at the link. OH will have a break down I think if he sees me on there Poor chap is sharing his bedroom with 2 dogs, 4 cats, me and 6 bonding bunnies tonight Going to look at the link now
