Gem is a good name - precious [stone]. She looks like a little precious gem

If you can afford it, I would go with Petplan. I have the cats with them. Dogs are with Sainsburys.

Delightful--She is a little "midget gem" (I wonder does anyone remember those sweets !) Gem is a lovely name or the full version Gemma like my grandaughter who gets called Gem unless she is not paying attention then she gets the full monty.
