Fantastic, well done both of you!!! You'll never look back now, you'll always have perfect recall, but keep practicing when you're out, don't nag him,but call him sometimes and give him a treat and a fuss! Great isn't it!!!

I spoke too soon lol, he did his first runner this morning, just wanting to play with some dogs we'd passed but I'm full of cold and have banging head ache and didn't see the funny side at the time...cup of tea and some toast later and my sense of humour has returned!!! He's now sleeping withthe face of an angel lol!!!

Lol! I'm sure it's a boxer thing, coz I met a lady this morning with a little 5 month old puppy, and she told me she can't get the recall thing, and the funny thing was, she set off up a long, steep hill, and he stayed sat at the bottom!!!! I watched her, she got near the top and called him and he DID come running, but in his own time!!! I'm sure if you had walked on and called him, he would have left those dogs alone if he saw you going out of sight too! Keep at it, you'll win in the end, and enjoy your cup of tea
